While super cute and funny, unfortunately French Bulldogs are not a breed famous for their health. We were quite concerned about the ethical implications of picking this breed and did a lot of research into it. At one point, we even gave up, thinking it was not possible to find a physically athletic and healthy Frenchie. All this changed thanks to Daphne and Ed, who gave us our dream puppy. The hard work that Daphne and Ed put into their bloodlines are evident to us whenever we look at Otto. From a personality standpoint, Otto is a joy to live with - a confident, chunky ray of sunshine who has never had a grumpy moment in his life. He loves to train, is so happy whenever he makes us happy and is so encouraged by praise. From a health aspect, he is everything we hoped he would be - he runs without breathing issues, he has no problems hiking and keeps up on long days as long as we are mindful of the heat. I have received many compliments about his physique, stamina and his temperament from people who have met him. As a puppy, Daphne and Ed socialised him so well with noises and people that he had no fear at all and is the first dog I've ever had to runs with excitement towards the vacuum cleaner. Daphne and Ed are always available whenever we have questions, and we keep in touch with updates even now (Otto is almost 2 years old). They are amazing breeders who are willing to share their knowledge and are truly kind and wonderful people. I can only recommend their kennel and a puppy from them.
